Toulouse Hanging Chain Planter Set of 2, Vintage Mesh Bowl, Distressed Metal

A pair of little chain planters in weathered metal mesh, the kind that look like they have hung in a French courtyard for years.

Toulouse is a set of two hanging planters, each a shallow metal mesh bowl worked in a fine diamond weave with embossed flowers, finished in a soft, weathered grey. A turned finial hangs below the bowl, and three chains rise to a ring for hanging.

One bowl is a little larger than the other, so they hang well together at different lengths, about 72cm and 61.5cm from the ring down. Drop a potted plant straight in, or line the bowl so you can plant into it.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry brush and wipe with a barely damp cloth. The weathered grey finish is part of the look and will keep ageing, more so if hung outside in the weather. Bring them under cover in long wet spells to slow any rust, and empty out water that pools after rain.

Because Toulouse is hand-finished, the weathered grey, the wear, and the surface marks vary from piece to piece and add to the character of each one. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
