A little acanthus corbel in distressed white, a ledge for a candle or a small treasure.

Brigitte is a small wall corbel cast in magnesia composite, moulded with a deep acanthus leaf and finished in a distressed antique white. The white is worn back at the edges to a warm terracotta tone, so it reads like a salvaged plaster bracket pulled from an old building.

The flat top is sized to hold a pillar candle, a small framed photo, a posy, or a little trinket. Mount it on its own, hang two to flank a doorway or mirror, or run a few along a wall as candle ledges. It brings a piece of old architecture to a plain wall.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep Brigitte indoors and out of damp, the magnesia is not sealed for wet areas. It mounts to the wall through the back, so use screws and wall plugs suited to your wall type. The candle rests on the flat top rather than in a holder, so use a stable pillar and never leave a burning candle unattended, or use a flameless LED pillar for peace of mind.

Because Brigitte is hand-finished, slight variations in distressing, tone and the terracotta showing through are natural and add to the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
