Léon is the larger French Provincial cake stand in the same family as Lawrence. A solid fir wood serving disc sits on a sculpted magnesia pedestal, hand-finished in antique white with scrollwork running around the base and chippy paint at the corners where the cast has been worn back to read as genuinely aged.

At 27 cm across and 19.5 cm tall, Léon holds a layered cake, a generous cheese course, a tall cluster of pillar candles or a sculptural floral arrangement with room to spare. He stands 6.5 cm taller than Lawrence and 3 cm wider, which is the difference between a single-tier birthday cake and a styled wedding-cake moment. Paired with Lawrence on a dessert table, the two heights make a complete display without needing a third piece.

Care & Keeping

Wipe both the wood top and magnesia pedestal with a soft dry cloth, or a barely damp cloth followed by an immediate dry. Do not immerse in water and not dishwasher safe, as moisture will swell the fir grain and lift the antique white finish on the base. Use a doily or cake board between Léon and any moist food. Store indoors away from direct sunlight and heat.
