A goblet fit for a chateau table, lace worked in metal with two small birds at the rim.
Santo is a pedestal bowl in pierced iron filigree, his bowl worked in an open damask pattern that lets candlelight through. The bronze style finish with verdigris patina shifts between copper and sea green, and a pair of cast birds perch on his rim as if they just landed.
At 34.5cm tall he is the grandest of our three pedestal bowls, holding a table centre on his own or gathering with Sandro and Zeno for a flock down the runner.

Care & Keeping
Dust with a soft dry cloth or brush through the filigree. Keep him dry, the patina is applied and sealed, and wet fruit or outdoor weather will move it along faster than intended. Line the bowl before loading loose berries or anything that stains.

Santo is iron throughout, the bowl pierced in a filigree pattern and the whole piece in a bronze style finish with a verdigris patina.
Is the green intentional?
Yes, the verdigris is applied by hand over the bronze finish so he arrives looking like he has stood in a French garden room for a century.
Can I serve food from him?
He is decorative rather than food safe. Whole fruit with skins is fine, but line the bowl first for anything you plan to eat, and keep him out of the dishwasher entirely.
Which sizes make the set?
Three, each listed separately. Santo stands 34.5cm with a pair of birds on the rim, Sandro 28.5cm, and Zeno 22.5cm, each with a single bird.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close. The patina is worked by hand, so where the green pools in the filigree varies from piece to piece, which is part of the intended character.
Because Santo is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
