Michel is built around an open spiral of aged metal, twisted into a hollow cage and set between a turned baluster foot and a wide dished top. A turned ball knop sits just below the dish, lifting the whole piece taller than its companion Francis. The finish is a verdigris-green ground washed with antique gold, with a warm gold wash inside the dish that catches the candlelight.
It stands 38.5 cm tall with a dished top around 16.5 cm across, sized for a standard taper or dinner candle set upright in the centre. Stand it alone for height on a console or sideboard, or set it with the shorter Francis for a stepped pair down a dining table. Candle not included.
