Océane is a sleeping cherub sculpture cast in magnesium oxide composite and finished in a heavily distressed whitewash. The pose captures her curled on her stomach, head resting on her arm, wings folded back over her body, one foot crossed gently over the other. The wings are the standout sculptural feature, each feather shaped in deep relief with the whitewash worn back through to a warm terracotta undertone at the high points. Across the body the finish reads as aged stone or weathered plaster rather than a smooth modern paint.

At 34 cm long, 19 cm deep, and 15.5 cm tall, Océane is sized as a horizontal shelf or mantel piece, lying along a surface rather than standing upright.
