A metal canister with a domed lid and twin handles, embossed all over and finished in antique gold over soft verdigris.
Agathe is a lidded canister pressed from light metal and worked over every surface. The body carries a repeating floral lattice, and the domed lid rises to a turned finial above a cross-hatched collar. A scrolling border runs around the shoulder, between two small handles. The finish is antique gold over soft verdigris green, rubbed back so the gold sits on the raised pattern and the green settles into the recesses.
It stands about 35 cm tall and 21 cm across, with the handles widening it to 25.5 cm. Use it closed as a decorative canister on a shelf or sideboard, or lift the lid and stand dried stems in the opening. It is photographed here beside its taller companion, Aria, which is a separate piece sold on its own.

How to style it
A few ways to use it:
- Keep the lid on and group it with other vases and urns.
- Lift the lid and fill it with dried stems or faux florals.
- Drop a potted plant inside as a cachepot, alongside our planters.

Care & Keeping
Dust gently with a soft dry cloth and lift the lid to reach inside. Keep Agathe indoors and dry, since it is not sealed and is not made to hold water. For fresh flowers, stand them in a small jar or liner inside rather than filling the metal directly. Dried stems and faux florals need no liner.

Does it come with the taller one?
No. The taller canister in the photos is a separate piece called Aria, sold on its own. This listing is for the shorter Agathe with its lid.
Can I put fresh flowers and water in it?
Not directly. It isn't sealed, so water would sit against the metal and could mark it. Stand a small jar or liner inside for fresh stems, or use dried and faux florals, which need nothing extra.
How big is it?
About 35 cm tall to the top of the finial and 21 cm across the body, widening to 25.5 cm at the handles. Roughly the height of a large kitchen canister.
Can it go outside?
Best kept indoors or under cover. The two-tone finish is decorative and will weather if it's left in the rain.
Will mine look like the photos?
Close, not identical. Agathe is hand-finished, so the balance of gold to verdigris shifts a little from piece to piece.
