Étienne is a tall floor-or-table candelabra with twelve curved iron arms rising in a tiered arrangement from a turned fir wood column. The iron is finished in a soft distressed whitewash that wears back to a warm undertone along the high points, and each arm ends in a small tulip-shaped cup designed for standard tapered candles. The wood column section breaks the white with a band of warm timber, carved with cut-out detail that echoes a classical column, before stepping down to a fluted whitewashed pedestal foot.

At 27 cm wide and 60 cm tall, Étienne is sized as a statement centrepiece, the kind of piece that anchors a dining table, console, or mantel and holds a room together when lit. The white finish is the softer of the two colourways in this design, Étienne's sister piece Joshua is finished in distressed blue for a moodier read.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush, paying attention to the candle cups where wax can settle. Wax drips can be lifted from the iron by warming gently with a hairdryer and wiping with a soft cloth, taking care not to scrub at the whitewash finish. The wood column section can be wiped with a barely damp cloth and dried immediately. Indoor only, and never leave burning candles unattended.

Because Étienne is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, paint distribution, and wood grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
