Julien is a standing candle holder built as a tall arched frame in aged metal, topped with a fleur-de-lis finial above a small leaf collar. A round dish hangs from a hook inside the arch on its own swinging cradle, so the candle sits suspended at the centre of the frame rather than flat on the table. The finish is a warm aged gold, worn back over the high points to a darker base.
