Arles French Provincial Urn Planter, Bronze Finish 37cm

A trophy cup for growing things, raised on a pedestal and dressed in an old bronze finish.

Arles is an urn planter in iron, his cup circled by an embossed floral band and flanked by cast scroll handles, the whole of him carried on a turned baluster pedestal. The aged bronze style finish is rubbed through with copper glints and deep shadow, the look of a garden urn that has seen a hundred springs.

At 37cm tall he is the taller of our two urns, lifting succulents, ferns, or a mass of dried stems to where they catch the light on a console, a plinth, or the centre of the table.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry cloth. He tolerates a covered porch, but direct rain will hurry the finish along, so keep him under cover and slip plants inside in their nursery pots rather than potting into him directly.

Because Arles is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
