Avignon French Provincial Two Tier Wall Planter, Scrolled Grey Iron 80cm

Avignon is a two tier wall planter in iron, his pair of deep trough boxes dressed with scrolled ironwork across their faces and crowned with a curled pediment at the top. Every surface wears a soft brushed grey wash, the colour of weathered French shutters.

At 80cm tall and 38cm wide he turns a bare wall into a standing garden, ferns spilling from the top box, flowers crowding the lower, on a verandah, a courtyard wall, or beside the kitchen door.

Care & Keeping

Fix him to solid wall through the keyhole mounts with fixings rated well above his planted weight. Keep plants in pots inside the boxes rather than filling them with soil, and keep him under cover so the grey wash stays as intended.

Because Avignon is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
