The same turning scrolls in a smaller round, made for the gaps the big pieces leave behind.
Zola is a round wall art panel, her acanthus scroll mandala sweeping in curls around a star flower centre in pierced relief, the same design as her big sister Zita at a smaller scale. A natural timber hoop frames the circle, and the whitewash is rubbed back so warm timber tones ride every scroll.
At 33cm across she slots into the narrow spots, and hung near Zita the pair reads like one pattern echoing down the wall.
| Size | 33 cm diameter x 2.7 cm deep |
| Weight | 0.5 kg net |
| Materials | Fir wood and MDF |
| Finish | Whitewash with natural timber hoop, hand-finished |
| Style | French Provincial · classical · vintage |
| Suitable for | Indoor use |
Zola finishes what the bigger pieces start.
Stylist's TipRepeat is the quietest trick in decorating; the same carving at two sizes makes a wall look considered without a single new colour.
Dust between the scrolls with a soft dry brush or cloth. She is happiest on a dry indoor wall, away from steam and direct weather.
Zola weighs 0.5 kg, so a standard picture hook holds her in a solid wall. Use a plasterboard anchor on hollow walls, or lean her on a shelf.
This listing is for Zola alone. Zita, the same design at 43cm, is listed separately, so you can hang one or gather the matched pair.
Yes, the pattern is pierced, so the wall shows through the cutwork and the relief throws true shadow as the light moves.
We recommend dry rooms. Steam is unkind to timber over time, so she is happiest in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and entries.
Very close. The whitewash is rubbed back by hand and the hoop's grain differs from piece to piece, which is part of the intended character.
Because Zola is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.

Odette French Provincial Swan Planter, Whitewashed Magnesia Garden Decor 43cm
Fits in beautifully with the fairy garden vibe I'm creating fir my great grandchildren.
Lady Ophelia French Provincial Fairy Statue, Natural Rust Cast Iron 30cm
It was my testing the waters first purchase to check out this new store & what’s on offer. I loved the idea of supplying cast iron cute animal figurines as they’re practical, good looking, solid durable material, great rust finish (no need to buy expensive rust effect paint). Just ready to weather and brings a smile on your dial. I placed my frog with his hands up as if in religious praying gesture next to the concrete funny sign scored at Vinnies reading: grant me patience Lord but hurry - I believe the praying frog and the sign go comically together. I’m thinking of getting the other frog too in its hilarious pose possibly in green patina for contrast. I can confirm it’s heavy cast iron with attractive rust patina. These casts fill the gap in the market dominated by laser cut cortina steel offerings. Just something old school different and complimentary to your garden /house decor. Pleased it’s introduced to Australian market and once for change not made in China… but in France known for its cast iron tradition. We own 18th century French anvil won at an antique auction which is our proud possession so happy to score more in heavy casts.
The Frog Prince French Provincial Frog Statue, Natural Rust Cast Iron 30cm
I got this little figurine as a freebie & it’s pretty cute. Heavy cast metal nice detail to it. He would look great in larger sizes too I think.
Mr Capone French Provincial Terrier Statue in a Bowler Hat, Natural Rust Cast Iron 14.5cm
This may not show on the store website that well but they’re actually old gold colour. It’s lightweight thin metal so perhaps inside or sheltered outdoor space would suit them the best as it may rust out & some fragile parts of the tail break exposed to the weather. They’re as large as described, cleverly designed for packaging - legs are separate with tightening screw. They make an impact due to their size & fit almost any decor with the colour & style.

Guido French Provincial Fleur de Lis Urn Vase, Aged Bronze Finish 43.5cm
I bought this piece as I could see it in my mind's eye having an suspended impact with my high end Brazilian quartz crystal display. Such a well made piece, sturdy and if I didn't know better, from another time. I am planning a candle holder from Chateau Living to complete this display, just having trouble deciding from the elegant range they have available. Very pleased :) Who would have thought you could combine Brazil with French Provincial so perfectly.

It’s beautiful the only things I thought disappointing Were .. it’s a bit smaller than indicated by 3 cms across the bowl And it’s pretty much all grey not a rustic patchy colour It’s still beautiful
The Willowmere Grey French Provincial Pedestal Bird Feeder, Weathered Grey Cast Iron 58cm
Store owner replied: Thank you so much for the honest review and the photo, Lynne, and I'm so glad you still find her beautiful. The 30cm is measured across the dish including the little bird perched on the rim, so the bowl itself is a few centimetres smaller. We'll make that clearer on the listing. The grey version has a weathered stone finish, chalky on the raised edges and darker in the recesses, so it reads as mostly grey. If you ever fall for the patchier rustic look, the Willowmere also comes in a natural rust finish. Lucie
