A clear glass dome over a metal tray edged in a little pierced crown.
Honorine is a glass cake dome on a footed metal tray. The tray has a pierced crown edge and sits on small ball feet, finished in distressed antique gold. The clear glass dome lifts off by a round knob on top.
The tray is about 20.5 cm across and the piece stands roughly 15 cm tall with the dome on. It covers a few cupcakes, a wedge of cheese or a single cake, and lifts off to serve. Left empty, it works as a cloche over a candle or a small keepsake. The plate shown under the cakes in some photos is for styling and is not included.

How to style it
A few ways to bring Honorine into the room.
- Keep cupcakes or a wedge of cheese under the dome on a grazing table.
- Use it as a cloche over a small candle from candle holders.
- Set a keepsake or a few dried stems underneath as a quiet display.
- Group it with other pieces from trays and bowls for a layered table.
Stylist's Tip Put one thing under the glass. A single cake, one candle or a small keepsake reads more like a patisserie window than a dome packed full.
Care & Keeping
Wash the glass dome by hand in warm water and dry it with a soft cloth. Wipe the metal tray with a barely damp cloth and dry it rather than soaking it. Keep the piece indoors, and lift the dome by the knob with care, as glass can chip if knocked.

Is a plate included?
No. The white plate in some of the photos is there for styling. You receive the metal tray and the glass dome.
Can I put food straight on the tray?
For food it is best to set a plate or a doily on the tray rather than placing items straight onto the metal. Lift the dome to serve.
How big is it?
The tray is about 20.5 cm across and it stands roughly 15 cm tall with the dome on, so it suits a few cupcakes or a single small cake.
Is the dome real glass?
Yes, it is clear glass with a knob on top. Lift it by the knob and handle it with care, as glass can chip if knocked.
Will each one look the same?
Close to it. The metal tray is hand-finished, so the antique gold and the wear vary a little from one to the next.
Because the Honorine tray is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture and grain are natural and add to the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
