Dominique is a footed urn planter in the old compote shape, a wide fluted bowl on a stepped pedestal with a scrolled handle each side. It is made from embossed aged metal finished in antique brass, with a soft verdigris settled into the recesses and a decorative band of relief running around the rim.
It works as a centrepiece more than a workhorse pot. Drop a potted fern or a cluster of succulents inside, fill it with faux stems or pinecones, or leave it on a table as a shapely bowl. The aged brass and the green-grey patina give it the look of a piece found in an old conservatory.

Keep it indoors or somewhere sheltered, the antique brass and verdigris will weather and patina further outdoors in the wet.
