A little rabbit caught in a moment of garden life, ears forward and listening to the world go by.
Bisou is a hand-finished French Provincial rabbit statue, cast in lightweight magnesia composite and given a distressed whitewash finish that wears beautifully with age. She lies low and compact, the smallest of our Garden Rabbits, with the dreamy stillness of a bunny that has just settled in for the afternoon.
At 20 cm long and 17 cm tall, she is the perfect size for a console, shelf, garden bench, or a quiet corner of a shaded patio. Style her on her own or alongside her companions — Coco, Pomme, Croissant, and Marcel — for the complete Garden Rabbits family.

Why we love her
- ◆ Quiet character, with the soft, listening pose of a contented little rabbit
- ◆ Hand-finished whitewash, applied by hand so the aged patina is unique to each piece
- ◆ Indoor or out in the garden, with frost-resistant magnesia made to live outside year round
- ◆ Pairs beautifully with the other Garden Rabbits — Coco, Pomme, Croissant, and Marcel — for a styled set
How to style her
Bisou is small and content, equally at home indoors or tucked into a garden bed.
- Place her on a hallway console with a small jug of seasonal greenery
- Tuck her among ferns, hostas, or potted herbs in a shaded garden bed
- Style her as a quiet Easter table accent with moss, eggs, and a pillar candle
- Add her to a styled bookshelf vignette with a stack of vintage books and a small frame
- Browse the other garden and outdoor pieces to build a French country garden story
Stylist's Tip Bisou is the smallest of the Garden Rabbits family — perfect as the quiet anchor in a grouped vignette, with taller pieces like Pomme rising behind her.
Care & Keeping
Magnesia is durable, frost-resistant and made for outdoor life. In the open garden the hand-painted finish will soften and weather over time, which adds to the aged look. Keep her out of standing water, and a clear outdoor sealer once a year will help the finish last longer. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Bisou live outdoors?
Yes. Bisou can sit in the open garden or on a patio, verandah or balcony. Magnesia is frost-resistant and made for outdoor life, and the finish will soften and weather over time, which many customers love. Keep her out of standing water for the longest life.
How big is she?
20 cm long, 17 cm tall, 13 cm wide. About the size of a small guinea pig. She is the smallest of the Garden Rabbits family and the most compact lying-down pose.
Will every Bisou look the same?
Each piece is hand-finished, so slight variations in patina, distressing depth, and the warm underglow are natural. No two Bisous look exactly alike, which is part of the charm.
Are there matching rabbits?
Yes — Bisou is part of the Garden Rabbits family. Her companions are Coco (scratching), Pomme (sitting tall), Croissant (crouched), and Marcel (standing). Collect them all for a complete styled group.
Because Bisou is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and the aged underglow are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
