Amandine is a pair of sitting leopard bookends in an antique white finish. Each cat sits tall on a rectangular plinth, tail curled to the front, its coat covered in a moulded dimpled spot pattern. The white sits over a darker body that shows through on the raised edges, so they look found rather than bought new. The two face opposite ways as a mirrored pair.
Cast from magnesia composite, they have enough base to hold a short row of paperbacks or bracket a few cookbooks on a bench. For a heavy run of hardbacks, treat them as the decorative ends and let a wall or a heavier object take the load. On their own they read as a pair of shelf or mantel figures.
