Simone is a set of two wall shelves, a wider one and a narrower one, each with a pine timber top, a pierced fretwork gallery along the front, and a slim rail running underneath. The metal is finished in a chippy aged white that has worn back in places to show warm rust, the look of a piece pulled from an old French laundry or pantry.
Hang them in a bathroom for towels, in the kitchen for tea towels and a row of small jars, or in an entry for a trailing plant and a length of linen. The shelf holds display on top while the rail beneath does the hanging. The two sizes sit one above the other for a stepped wall, or split across separate rooms.

How to style it
Simone works as a pair or split up. A few ways:
- Stack the two on one wall, wide below and narrow above, for a stepped display near your shelves
- Hang one in the bathroom with rolled towels over the rail
- Use one in the kitchen for small jars, a plant and a tea towel
- Style the shelf with a wall piece or two and keep the rail for everyday hanging
Stylist's Tip Let the rust show. These are at their best styled simply, a couple of pale objects and a length of linen over the rail, so the chippy white and warm timber do the work.
Care & Keeping
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep Simone indoors and out of damp, the aged white finish and pine top are not sealed for wet areas, so wipe up any splashes if it hangs near a basin. You will need screws and wall plugs suited to your wall type, and it is worth fixing into a stud or using proper anchors given the timber top.

How does it hang?

No, it is aged white-painted metal with a chippy, rusted finish. The shelf top is pine timber.
Will mine look like the photos?
Close, not identical. The distressed finish and rust are applied by hand, so the wear varies a little from piece to piece.
Because Simone is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, paint wear and grain are natural and add to the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
