Yolande is a plant stand for three pots, a metal frame with curved legs and a scrolled apron across the front. Three round pots sit in their own rings along the top, and a small shelf runs between the legs near the base for a watering can, a trowel or another pot. It comes with the three pots, and they lift out for planting and watering.

The finish is a distressed taupe, a soft greige rubbed back so the metal shows through on the scrollwork and edges. It stands about 62 cm tall and 48 cm wide, a useful height beside a doorway, on a porch or against a garden wall. Plant the pots with herbs, succulents or small seasonal colour and move the whole row at once.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry cloth. The worn paint and the bare metal on the edges are part of the distressed finish rather than faults. Yolande is happiest indoors or on a covered porch, since constant weather will wear the finish and mark the metal faster. Lift the pots out to water them rather than watering in place, and tip out any water that gathers so it does not sit on the frame.

Because Yolande is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture and tone are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
