The Camille stands at 130 cm tall and 76 cm wide, with a gentle cathedral arch silhouette and a slim, distressed timber frame. The hand-finished rose and leaf crown sits at the apex of the arch like a small piece of architectural salvage, its chalky cream paint worn back to reveal warm honey timber beneath. It carries the patina of a piece that has been loved for years.

How to style it
The Camille pairs beautifully with soft linen, dried botanicals, and warm metallics. A few of our favourite ways to style it:
- Mounted above a French Provincial console table in the entryway, with a stoneware vase of dried hydrangea or roses beneath.
- Hung above a dresser in the master bedroom, paired with candelabras for a romantic dressing-table vignette.
- In a powder room above the vanity, where the slim profile suits narrower walls and the rose crown adds the unexpected detail that elevates the room.

Stylist's Tip Mount the Camille slightly higher than you think you should. Letting the rose crown sit at eye level when standing makes the detail visible and the room feel taller. Aim for the centre of the mirror around 160 cm from the floor.
Care & Keeping
Display indoors only, away from direct moisture and prolonged direct sunlight. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or a soft long-bristled brush to reach into the rose crown detail. Clean the glass with a slightly damp microfibre, taking care not to soak the timber frame or crown ornament. Avoid wet cloths and chemical cleaners on the painted surfaces, as the distressed finish is intentionally aged and may lift if dampened. Small variations in patina, paintwork, and timber grain are part of the piece's character.

How is the Camille mounted to the wall?
The Camille has a fixing point on the back for hanging from a picture hook or screw. As the piece weighs 13 kg, we recommend a heavy-duty wall hook rated to at least 20 kg, ideally fixed into a wall stud or with a hollow-wall anchor for plasterboard.
Is the rose crown removable or fixed?
The rose and leaf crown is securely fixed to the timber frame at the apex of the arch and is not designed to be removed. It's part of the piece's permanent design.
Can it be used in a bathroom or powder room?
A powder room or guest bathroom is fine. The Camille suits these spaces beautifully. We don't recommend using it in a main bathroom with a shower or bath, as sustained humidity will lift the distressed finish over time. A dry, well-ventilated room is ideal.

It was my testing the waters first purchase to check out this new store & what’s on offer. I loved the idea of supplying cast iron cute animal figurines as they’re practical, good looking, solid durable material, great rust finish (no need to buy expensive rust effect paint). Just ready to weather and brings a smile on your dial. I placed my frog with his hands up as if in religious praying gesture next to the concrete funny sign scored at Vinnies reading: grant me patience Lord but hurry - I believe the praying frog and the sign go comically together. I’m thinking of getting the other frog too in its hilarious pose possibly in green patina for contrast. I can confirm it’s heavy cast iron with attractive rust patina. These casts fill the gap in the market dominated by laser cut cortina steel offerings. Just something old school different and complimentary to your garden /house decor. Pleased it’s introduced to Australian market and once for change not made in China… but in France known for its cast iron tradition. We own 18th century French anvil won at an antique auction which is our proud possession so happy to score more in heavy casts.

This may not show on the store website that well but they’re actually old gold colour. It’s lightweight thin metal so perhaps inside or sheltered outdoor space would suit them the best as it may rust out & some fragile parts of the tail break exposed to the weather. They’re as large as described, cleverly designed for packaging - legs are separate with tightening screw. They make an impact due to their size & fit almost any decor with the colour & style.
