The shorter of the two trophy urns, same old bronze finish, same flowers in the band, closer to the table.
Amalfi is an urn planter in iron, his cup circled by an embossed floral band and flanked by cast scroll handles, carried on a compact pedestal foot. The aged bronze style finish is rubbed through with copper glints and deep shadow, the look of a garden urn that has seen a hundred springs.
At 27cm tall he is the shorter of our two urns, right for a sideboard, a kitchen bench, or standing beside his taller brother Arles with the greenery at two heights.

Dust with a soft dry cloth. He tolerates a covered porch, but direct rain will hurry the finish along, so keep him under cover and slip plants inside in their nursery pots rather than potting into him directly.

Can I plant directly into him?
We suggest keeping plants in a plastic nursery pot and slipping them inside. It protects the finish, and swapping the display for the season takes seconds.
Can he live outdoors?
He suits a covered porch or sheltered courtyard. Direct rain will age the iron faster than intended, so under cover is his happy place.
Is there a larger size?
Yes, Arles is his taller brother at 37cm with the same cup and band on a taller baluster pedestal, listed separately so you can stagger the pair.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close. The aged bronze finish is worked by hand, so where the copper shows through varies from piece to piece, which is part of the intended character.
Because Amalfi is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
