Hughette is a small wall panel printed with a wildflower design, tall stems topped with lacy, umbrella-shaped heads in the style of Queen Anne's lace. The flowers are picked out in white against warm, natural timber, so the grain still reads through the print.

It is a fir wood panel with a little depth to it, so it sits proud of the wall. That depth also lets it lean or stand on a shelf or mantel, so you are not tied to hanging it.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it indoors and away from damp so the timber and the printed line hold their look, and avoid wetting the surface. The natural timber tone and grain vary a little from piece to piece, which is part of the character. Hang from a suitable wall fixing, or stand it on a steady surface.

Because Hughette is finished by hand, the timber tone and print vary a little from piece to piece, so no two are exactly alike. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
