Two mesh baskets on a scrolled frame, with a grip handle to carry it by.
Oscar is a two tier basket carrier made of metal, with two round mesh baskets, a smaller one above a larger one, held in a tall wire frame. Scrolled wire supports link the tiers and a grip handle arches over the top, so you can lift the whole thing and move it in one go. The finish is a rustic rust-brown, weathered and uneven across the mesh and the braided rims.
It earns its keep as a carrier, gather produce, eggs, garden cuttings, craft bits, or bathroom odds and ends across the two levels and carry them where you need them. It also makes a lovely two tier planter, sit potted herbs or trailing greenery in each basket, with a liner or a pot to hold soil since the mesh is open. At 60cm tall it has real presence on a bench, a sideboard, or a covered patio.

How to style it
Oscar is open and tall, so let each basket carry one clear thing rather than crowding both.
- In a kitchen, fill it with produce, eggs, or fresh herbs and carry it from bench to table.
- Pot it up as a two tier planter with herbs or trailing greenery, with a few from our planters set inside to hold soil.
- Use it in a bathroom or laundry for rolled towels, soaps, and odds and ends.
- Stand it among our garden and outdoor pieces on a covered patio, keeping heavier things in the lower basket.
Stylist's Tip For a planted look, drop a glass or ceramic pot inside the lower basket and let one trailing plant spill through the mesh. The rust and the green together are what give it that found-in-an-old-garden feel.
Care & Keeping
Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush to lift dust from the mesh. The rust-brown finish is part of the look, so handle it as a decorative, weathered piece rather than a sealed one. Keep it indoors or in a covered, sheltered spot, since full exposure to rain will deepen the rust over time. Sit pots, damp items, or anything loose on a liner or in an inner pot, as the base is open mesh. Lift it by the handle rather than the baskets.

Yes. Sit a glass, ceramic, or plastic pot inside each basket to hold the soil and water, since the mesh is open. Trailing plants look lovely spilling through the weave. For a working planter outdoors, keep it in a covered spot.

It has a grip handle made for lifting and moving it. Keep heavier items in the lower basket and lift by the handle rather than the baskets, and keep loads sensible for a decorative mesh piece.
