A slim Gothic lancet window mirror in whitewashed fir, edged with a chunky bronze-gilt beaded trim and panelled like a chapel window.
Vincent is a tall, slender wall mirror modelled on a French country chapel window. The whitewashed fir frame rises to a pointed Gothic lancet arch, divided by slim tracery mullions in the crown and a twelve-pane grid below. Bead-and-reel trim runs around the inside edge of the frame in worn antique gold, catching light against the pale timber.
At 100 cm tall and 48 cm wide, Vincent is sized for narrow hallways, entryways, and the gap between two pieces of furniture where a standard mirror would feel too square. The pointed arch draws the eye upward, so he reads taller than he measures.

How to style him
Vincent works hardest in narrow vertical spaces where the arch can stretch upward.
- Hang above a slim hallway console with a pair of candle holders and a sculptural vase of dried pampas or eucalyptus.
- Lean against a wall in a bedroom corner for a relaxed European feel, the arch reads as a window even propped on the floor.
- Hang in a pair on either side of a fireplace or a four-poster bed to frame the central piece with two lancet arches.
- Use in a bathroom with stone or marble vanity surfaces, the chapel-window shape lifts an everyday space without taking over the wall.
- Pair with our corbel wall shelves for a styled gallery wall in a French country dining room or entryway.
Stylist's Tip Mount Vincent slightly higher than eye-level so the lancet point reads as a chapel window rather than a face mirror. The window-pane mullions are a design feature, not a flaw, the divided reflection is what makes the piece work.
Care & Keeping
Wipe the frame with a soft dry cloth or barely damp cloth followed by an immediate dry. Clean the mirror surface with a standard glass cleaner sprayed onto a microfibre cloth, not directly onto the mirror, so liquid does not seep behind the frame. Do not immerse in water. Indoor use only. Hang from a secure wall fixing rated for at least 15 kg to allow a safety margin.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the window panes individual mirrors or one piece?
The mullions are an applied timber grid on the front of a single backing mirror. The reflection is divided visually into separate panes by the framework, which is what gives Vincent the chapel-window look.
How do I hang him?
Vincent is 9 kg, so we recommend two wall fixings rated for at least 15 kg combined, into a stud or with proper plasterboard anchors. The back has a hanging point ready for hook or D-ring fixings, which are not supplied.
Will he fit in a narrow hallway?
Yes, Vincent is only 48 cm wide and 3.5 cm deep, so he sits flush enough not to catch in a narrow hallway or stairway. The 100 cm height gives presence without using a lot of horizontal wall space.
Can I use him outdoors?
Vincent is designed for indoor use only. He can sit on a covered verandah for short periods in fine weather, but the fir frame will warp and the whitewashed finish will lift with dew, rain, or direct sun.
Does each piece look the same?
Vincent is hand-finished, so subtle variations in the whitewash, the antique gold patina on the beading and the natural fir grain are part of the character. No two pieces are identical.
