André French Provincial Cherub Sculpture, Winged Figure on Fluted Column, Distressed Antique White

A winged cherub leaning into a fluted column, worn back to the look of old chapel stone.

André is a winged cherub wrapped around a fluted classical column, moulded in cast magnesia composite with the look of aged, weathered stone. The finish is a distressed antique white worn through to a warm terracotta body at the edges, the kind of wear you find on an old country chapel piece.

It stands 34 cm tall on an oval base about 20 cm across, a single figure that holds a mantel, console, or shelf on its own. Set it among books and dried stems, or let it stand alone against a pale wall.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth, and take care around the worn edges where the finish is meant to be chipped. Keep it indoors or somewhere fully sheltered, as cast magnesia is porous and not made for weather.

Because André is hand-finished, slight variations in the distressed white, the chipped edges, and the patina are natural and add to the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
