Lilly Dragonfly Wall Art, Distressed White Metal and Woven Jute 58cm

Lilly is a dragonfly wall piece with a body in aged white metal, chipped back in places to a darker base, and four wings of woven jute stretched over a wire frame. Each wing is edged in twisted hemp rope, and the weave is open enough to let the wall colour show through.

The wingspan is about 58 cm, so it holds a wall on its own, or group two or three in a loose flight up a stairwell or across a bedroom wall. It is very light and hangs from a single hook. It pairs with the smaller dragonfly, sold separately.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush, working with the weave on the jute wings rather than against it. Keep it indoors and out of damp, since the jute and the painted finish are not made for weather.

Because Lilly is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
