Natalie is a wall-mounted mantel shelf with a carved MDF apron and a solid fir wood top. The apron is the focal point, with a central heart-shaped cartouche flanked by curling C-scrolls and stylised leaves, all cut through with pierced openwork so the wall colour shows through the carving. The whole piece is finished in a soft distressed whitewash that wears back to a sandy undertone along the high points, with the timber top left in a warm natural finish for contrast.

At 54 cm wide and 22 cm tall, Natalie has the same width as her companion Virginie but a shorter, slimmer profile. The openwork carving gives her a lighter visual weight, suiting walls where Virginie's solid scrollwork would feel heavy. She works as a single architectural feature, or as a staggered-height pair with Virginie for a layered mantel-style wall.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush, paying attention to the pierced sections where dust collects in the cut-throughs. The carved apron and timber top can both be wiped with a barely damp cloth and dried immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and prolonged damp. Indoor use only.
