Daphne Basketweave Planter Set of 2, Whitewashed Metal French Provincial Planters

A pair of woven-look planters in a soft whitewash.

Daphne is a set of two planters with a basketweave texture pressed into the metal, finished in a whitewash that catches grey in the recesses. Each has a pair of looped handles at the rim, so they read like woven baskets caught in a coat of old paint.

The larger planter is 29 cm tall and the smaller 26.5 cm, close enough to sit as a pair and different enough to layer. Plant them with a fern, herbs, or trailing greenery, or use them to hold everyday bits on a bench or sideboard. They suit a kitchen, a hallway, or a covered patio.

Care & Keeping

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. The pair is finished with a washed-back white, so a little variation in the weave is part of the look. Keep them dry indoors, or use them in a covered outdoor spot. Use inner pots or a liner for planting, and bring them under cover in long wet spells to protect the finish.

Because the Daphne set is hand-finished, variations in the whitewash and grey tones through the weave are natural and part of the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
