A classical urn with the worn look of an old garden piece.
Julie is a classical Medici urn in magnesia composite, finished to look like a long-weathered garden urn. The fluted bowl flares to a beaded rim, with small rosette medallions set around a banded waist and a gadrooned lower body on a fluted foot. Soft rust tones run through the grey, the kind of patina an old urn picks up over years.
At 29.5 cm tall and light to lift, it sits on a console, a mantel, a step, or a pedestal and moves easily when you want to restyle. Plant it with a fern or trailing ivy, fill it with dried stems, or leave it empty as a sculptural object. Only four are in stock.

How to style it
A few ways to use it:
- Plant it with a fern or trailing ivy and set it on a plinth, then browse the rest of our planters.
- Group it with other garden and outdoor pieces for a courtyard look.
- Leave it empty beside a mirror as a sculptural object in an entry.
- Fill it with dried stems, or pair it with a candle holder on a mantel.
Stylist's Tip Slip a plastic liner or inner pot inside rather than potting straight in. It keeps soil and moisture off the magnesia and lets you switch the planting with the seasons.
Care & Keeping
Julie is finished to look aged, so the rust tones and surface variation are part of the look. It suits indoors or the open garden, and outdoors the finish will soften and weather over time. Use an inner pot or liner for planting, keep it out of standing water, and a clear outdoor sealer once a year will help the finish last longer.

Each piece is finished by hand to look aged, so the grey and rust tones fall differently on every urn. No two match exactly.
