A demi-lune console with slender turned legs in chalky cream, gold-leaf cuffs and a gilded iron band sweeping the base.
Estelle is a French Provincial half-moon console with three slender turned fir-wood legs in chalky distressed cream, capped at the top with gold-leaf iron cuffs that meet a curved arch beneath the timber top. A second band of gold-leaf iron loops the base, tying the three legs together at floor level. The top is natural-finish fir, edged with a fine gold-leaf line along the curved front. Every surface is hand-finished, so the paintwork on the legs reads as gently chipped and worn rather than factory-fresh.
At 80 cm wide, 35.5 cm deep and 76 cm tall, Estelle is sized for the spaces other consoles overshoot: narrow hallways, landings, the wall behind a sofa, a window bay. The flat back lets her sit flush against a wall. Style her with a framed print, a pair of aged candlesticks and a cherub, slip a basket of foraged stems underneath, and she reads as a piece that has lived in a French home for years. Available in two colourways, with the darker version listed as Clémence Half Moon Console Table.

Estelle is a foundation piece, she works hardest with the right styling. A few ways in.
Stylist's Tip Slip a tall stem of flowering branches into a vase beneath the table so the foliage drifts up through the legs. The base stretcher frames the arrangement and the styling reads as intentional rather than placed.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and prolonged contact with water, as these can lift the paintwork and the gold leaf. Keep Estelle out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources such as radiators and fireplaces. Lift the table to reposition rather than dragging, to protect both the legs and your floor. Indoor use only.
Yes, minor assembly only. The three turned legs attach to the underside of the top via the iron cuffs. The legs ship flat in the carton to protect the gold-leaf finish, and the process takes a few minutes with basic tools.
She sits naturally in French Provincial, French country, cottage, shabby chic and vintage-leaning interiors. The distressed cream and gold-leaf detail pair beautifully with linen, natural timber, aged metals and softly faded textiles.
Estelle is 80 cm long along the wall, 35.5 cm deep from the wall and 76 cm tall. That's a standard table height for a vase of flowers or a small lamp. The flat back means she only needs 35.5 cm of clearance from the wall, making her well suited to narrow hallways and entryways.
Yes. Estelle is hand-finished in a distressed cream, so the chipped and worn areas on the turned legs are part of the design, deliberately aged to read as a piece that has lived in a French home for years. Each table is unique and the distressing pattern varies slightly between pieces.
They're the same shape and dimensions in different colourways. Estelle is the distressed cream version with gold-leaf detailing. Clémence is the same console in distressed black, suited to darker or more dramatic interiors.
Because Estelle is hand-finished, slight variations in paintwork, gold-leaf coverage, distressing pattern and timber grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.

It was my testing the waters first purchase to check out this new store & what’s on offer. I loved the idea of supplying cast iron cute animal figurines as they’re practical, good looking, solid durable material, great rust finish (no need to buy expensive rust effect paint). Just ready to weather and brings a smile on your dial. I placed my frog with his hands up as if in religious praying gesture next to the concrete funny sign scored at Vinnies reading: grant me patience Lord but hurry - I believe the praying frog and the sign go comically together. I’m thinking of getting the other frog too in its hilarious pose possibly in green patina for contrast. I can confirm it’s heavy cast iron with attractive rust patina. These casts fill the gap in the market dominated by laser cut cortina steel offerings. Just something old school different and complimentary to your garden /house decor. Pleased it’s introduced to Australian market and once for change not made in China… but in France known for its cast iron tradition. We own 18th century French anvil won at an antique auction which is our proud possession so happy to score more in heavy casts.

This may not show on the store website that well but they’re actually old gold colour. It’s lightweight thin metal so perhaps inside or sheltered outdoor space would suit them the best as it may rust out & some fragile parts of the tail break exposed to the weather. They’re as large as described, cleverly designed for packaging - legs are separate with tightening screw. They make an impact due to their size & fit almost any decor with the colour & style.

The grey version has a weathered stone finish, chalky on the raised edges and darker in the recesses, so it reads as mostly grey.
