Francis is a candle holder built around an open spiral of aged metal, twisted into a hollow cage between a turned baluster foot and a wide dished top. The finish is a verdigris-green ground washed with antique gold, rubbed back over the raised edges so the gold sits proud and the green settles into the recesses. The dish interior carries a warm gold wash that throws light back up around the flame.
It stands 30.5 cm tall with a dished top around 16.5 cm across, sized for a standard taper or dinner candle set upright in the centre. Stand it on its own beside a stack of books, or pair it with the taller Michel for a stepped pair down a dining table or mantel. Candle not included.
