Maxime sits with one knee bent up, the other leg dropped over the edge, his right hand resting at his chest as if pausing mid-thought. He's cast in magnesium oxide composite with a distressed whitewash finish that wears back to a soft sandy undertone along the wings, curls, and the planes of his face. The chip pattern reads as aged stone, the kind of piece you'd expect to find in an old French garden room.

At 33 cm tall and 18 cm wide, Maxime is the larger of our cherub pair and works as a proper feature piece on a mantel, console, or sideboard. He's designed to be styled alongside our smaller seated cherub Bastien for a layered vignette, or to anchor a setting on his own. The dangling-leg pose also makes him a natural fit perched on the edge of a shelf or bookcase.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush for the textured detail in the wings and hair. Magnesium oxide is porous, so avoid wet cleaning, harsh chemicals, and prolonged damp. Indoor or covered outdoor use only.
