A column of carved scrolls a metre tall, the panel that dresses the wall nothing else fits.
Calla is a tall wall panel, her acanthus scrolls climbing the full drop in pierced relief around a star medallion at the centre, all inside a border of small carved florets. The whitewash is rubbed back at the high points so warm timber tones follow every curl.
At 108cm tall and just 27cm wide she is made for the narrow walls, beside doorways, between windows, and either side of a mirror as a matched pair.

Yes, the pattern reads beautifully sideways above a bedhead or buffet, though the beaded border and medallion were composed for the vertical.
Is the pattern raised?
Yes, the design is relief carving that sits proud of the panel with pierced sections, so it catches real shadow rather than reading flat.
Will she suit a bathroom?
We recommend dry rooms. Steam is unkind to timber over time, so she is happiest in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and entries.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close. The whitewash is rubbed back by hand, so where the timber tones show through varies from panel to panel, which is part of the intended character.
