Bastien sits with his legs stretched out in front of him, hands resting at his sides, head turned and lifted as if listening to something just out of view. He's cast in magnesium oxide composite with a distressed whitewash finish that wears back to a soft sandy undertone across the hair, wings, and the planes of his face. The chip pattern reads as aged stone, not new resin.

At 17 cm tall and 13 cm wide, Bastien is the smaller of our cherub pair, designed to be set alongside our larger seated cherub Maxime for a layered vignette, or styled on his own beside a candle, a stack of old books, or a posy of dried stems. He suits a bedside table, a styled shelf, a mantel corner, or a quiet spot on a bedroom dresser.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush for the textured detail in the wings and hair. Magnesium oxide is porous, so avoid wet cleaning, harsh chemicals, and prolonged damp. Indoor or covered outdoor use only.
