Marguerite is a wall-mounted corbel shelf with a carved magnesium oxide composite body and a solid fir wood top. The corbel tapers in a classic French Provincial silhouette, with central rosette flanked by curling acanthus scrolls and finished in a soft distressed whitewash that wears back to a sandy undertone along the high points. The fir wood top is left in a warm natural finish for contrast against the white carving.

At 29 cm tall and 27.5 cm wide, Marguerite has enough presence to anchor a section of wall on its own, but the top platform is sized to hold a small vase, a candle, a framed photo, or a piece from our cherub collection. She works as a single architectural accent above a console, beside a doorway, or flanking a mirror or piece of art.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush for the carved scrollwork. The magnesium oxide body is porous, so avoid wet cleaning, harsh chemicals, and prolonged damp. The fir wood top can be wiped with a barely damp cloth and dried immediately. Indoor use only.

Because Marguerite is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and timber grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
