Olive is a round wall panel built from a natural fir timber frame around a carved-look moulded centre. The acanthus and floral fretwork is finished in a whitewashed, lightly distressed white that lets the warm grain show through at the high points. A small fir display ledge crosses the lower third, deep enough for a framed photo, a bud vase, or a short stack of books.

At 41cm across it reads as one considered piece rather than a gallery wall, which makes it easy to place above a console, in an entry, or beside a bed. The relief catches side light, so a lamp or a nearby window gives it depth through the day. It suits a room already leaning French provincial, Hamptons, or coastal, and works on its own as readily as part of a layered wall.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth, and run a dry soft brush through the grooves of the relief if dust settles in the fretwork. Keep it indoors and away from direct damp, since the timber and the moulded panel are not made for outdoor exposure. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cloths, which can lift the whitewashed finish. The ledge is sized for light decorative items only, and fixings are not included.

Because Olive is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
