Blanche is a decorative crown in metal, the openwork frame curving up to a cross and fleur-de-lis finial. The finish is a distressed antique white worn back over the metal, and a small cradle hangs from a hook inside to hold a candle.

At 50 cm tall it makes a quiet centrepiece on a mantel, a console, or a dining table, the candlelight glowing out through the ribs of the crown. Use it lit for an evening, or leave it as a sculptural piece on its own. It has a romantic, faintly devotional feel that suits a French Provincial room.

Care & Keeping

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Blanche is finished to look aged, so the worn white is part of the look. Keep it indoors and dry. If you use a real candle, never leave a lit flame unattended, keep it away from anything that can catch, and use a votive or small pillar that sits clear of the frame. A flameless candle is the safest choice for everyday use.
