Héloïse is a substantial iron urn planter with scrolled acanthus handles, a fluted body and an antique white finish that has been hand-distressed at the rim and base to reveal warm rust tones beneath. She sits on her own decorative plinth (included), embossed with a French ornamental medallion that lifts the whole composition off the floor.
At 58 cm tall and 60 cm across the handles, she has the scale and presence of a true statement piece. Plant her up with a fern, a topiary, a clipped boxwood or a cascading geranium for an instant French country entrance, or leave her unplanted as a sculptural object in a covered courtyard, conservatory or entryway.

Plant Héloïse in a plastic nursery pot first and drop the pot into the urn rather than planting directly. The urn doesn't have a drainage hole, and a removable inner pot lets you swap plants seasonally without the mess. Add a layer of pebbles in the bottom of the urn for drainage clearance.
Care & Keeping
Wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain the antique finish. If using outdoors, place under cover (verandah, pergola, covered patio) to slow further weathering. The hand-distressed finish is intentional and will continue to develop a soft patina over time. Avoid pressure washing or harsh chemical cleaners, which will strip both the paint and the rust accents.

Yes. Héloïse arrives with both the urn and the matching decorative plinth as one set. The urn sits on top of the plinth, no fixings required.
Does the urn have a drainage hole?
No, there is no drilled drainage hole. We recommend planting in a plastic nursery pot and dropping it into the urn rather than planting directly, with a layer of pebbles in the base for drainage clearance.
Can she live outside permanently?
She is suitable for covered outdoor use such as verandahs, courtyards and pergolas. We recommend keeping her under cover to protect the iron from prolonged rain and heavy weather, which will accelerate rust beyond the intentional distressed finish.
Is the rust on the rim a fault?
No. The warm rust accents at the rim, handles and base are an intentional part of the hand-distressed antique finish. Each piece varies slightly, which is part of her character.
How is she packaged for delivery?
Héloïse ships in a single protective carton, 45 × 45 × 28.5 cm, with foam protection around the urn and plinth. Total gross weight 4.2 kg.
