Renée takes the shape of an old post horn, the kind once carried on coaching routes and hunts across the French countryside. The stem rises from a flared, trumpet-style foot, with a single loop of metal coiled to one side and a small cup at the top for the candle. The finish is antique gold worn over a darker base, mottled and lightly rubbed so the raised edges catch the light.

At 30cm tall it sits on a dining table, a mantel, or a console without crowding what stands beside it. It holds a standard taper or dinner candle, which is not included. Use one on its own, or set it with the taller Arnaud for a matched run down the table.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth. Keep it dry and indoors, since the antique gold finish can mark if it sits in damp or direct sun for long stretches. Let wax cool fully, then lift any drips away with a soft cloth rather than scraping the finish.
