Alora is a matched pair of angel wings, a left and a right, made to hang together on the wall. Each wing is moulded with layered feather detail, from the soft top down to the long feathers at the tip, and finished in a distressed white that has been worn back to a warm clay tone along the edges.

They are cast in a moulded composite with a stone-like weight and feel, so they sit with a quiet, antique presence rather than looking light or new. The aged, chippy finish is part of the charm.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft, dry cloth, working gently over the moulded feathers. The composite is stone-like and can chip or crack if knocked or dropped, so handle and hang it with care. The chipped, worn finish is intended and part of the look, so there is no need to touch it up. Keep it indoors and away from damp, and hang each wing from a wall fixing rated for the weight.

Because Alora is finished by hand, the distressing and tone vary a little from piece to piece, so no two are exactly alike. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
