A little metal bowl pierced all over like lace.
Rosalee is a small pierced bowl in antique gold metal. The sides and base are worked in a fine lace pattern of fans and rosettes, and the top finishes in a scalloped petal rim. Light passes straight through the openwork, so it casts a pattern of its own on the surface around it.
It is about 17.5 cm across and 9 cm tall, a piece for a console, a dresser or a shelf. Use it as a catch-all for a few keepsakes, fill it with potpourri or pinecones, or set it over a tealight to throw the lace pattern out across the table. The pinecones and the frame in the photos are styling and are not included.

How to style it
A few ways to bring Rosalee into the room.
- Keep it on a dresser as a catch-all for a watch, rings or a few keepsakes.
- Fill it with potpourri, pinecones or dried stems for a seasonal touch.
- Set a tealight beside or behind it and let the openwork cast its pattern.
- Group it with other small pieces from trays and bowls and candle holders.
Stylist's Tip Place it where light can reach it, near a lamp or a window, so the pierced sides cast their lace pattern on the surface below.
Care & Keeping
Dust with a soft, dry brush or cloth, working into the piercing where dust gathers. Keep it dry and indoors, as moisture can mark the finish over time. Avoid soaking it, since water sits in the openwork.

Are the pinecones and frame included?
No. Those are there for styling. You receive the bowl on its own.
Can I hold small things in it?
The sides and base are pierced, so very small or fine items can slip through. It suits a single ornament, potpourri, pinecones or larger keepsakes rather than loose jewellery.
Can I use it for food?
It is a decorative bowl, not made for food or liquids. For anything loose or damp, set a small dish or liner inside.
How big is it?
About 17.5 cm across and 9 cm tall, so it sits easily on a shelf, console or dresser.
Will each one look the same?
Close to it. Each bowl is hand-finished, so the gold tone and the aged wear in the piercing vary a little from one to the next.
