What comes in the set?
Both candlesticks, Alma at 60.5cm and Amara at 42cm, in the same twisted stem design. Candles are not included.
What candles do they take?
Standard taper or dinner candles. Each cup sits over a wide drip tray, so the wax stays off your table even on a long evening.
Are they steady at that height?
Their trumpet bases are broad for the slender stems. Give them a flat, level surface out of the path of sleeves and they hold their tapers politely.
What are they made of?
Iron, with the twist worked along the full stem, in an aged gold finish rubbed back to darker tones.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close. The aged gold is rubbed back by hand, so the pattern of wear shifts a little from piece to piece, which is part of the intended character.
Because Alma and Amara are hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
