Ivo French Provincial Teapot Vase, Antique Gold with Scroll Handle 36cm

A grand old coffee pot that gave up pouring and took up flowers instead.

Ivo is a vase in the shape of a tiered pot with a long slender spout, his body stepping down in soft swells to a rounded belly. An ornate cast scroll handle rises at his side, and he stands on three small ornate feet, the whole of him worn to an antique gold patina with darker tones beneath.

At 36cm tall he holds branches, dried stems, or a loose handful of the garden on a hall table, a kitchen bench, or a mantel where his silhouette can be read against the wall.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry cloth. For fresh flowers sit a slim jar of water inside rather than filling him directly, and lift him by the body rather than the handle or spout.

Because Ivo is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
