Rings of carved lace turning around a single small flower, fine work in a small round.
Vera is a round wall art panel, her lace ring carving circling a small flower at the centre in fine pierced relief. A natural timber hoop frames the circle, and the whitewash is rubbed back at the high points so warm timber tones trace every ring.
At 33cm across she is the smaller of a pair, sized for the narrow spots, and made to hang beside Velia, her larger petalled companion, at staggered heights.
