Ophelia is a wall sconce shelf shaped like a decorative corbel. It is cast in magnesia composite and finished in antique white, with an intricate filigree front that has the look of old carved plaster. A small flat top sits above the bracket, just big enough for a candle, a framed photo, or a little potted plant.

Mount it on its own as a piece of wall decoration, or hang two to flank a doorway, a mirror, or a window. The bracket shape carries the detail, and the top gives you a small ledge to style. At 35cm it is a neat size that tucks into a nook or sits well in a row.

Care & Keeping

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep Ophelia indoors and out of damp, the magnesia is not sealed for wet areas. It mounts to the wall through the back, so use screws and wall plugs suited to your wall type, into a stud or solid anchor where you can, and keep what you stand on the top light.

Because Ophelia is hand-finished, slight variations in tone and antiquing are natural and add to the character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
