The smaller of the two mesh lanterns, dome, palm crest, and pedestal all her own.
Ramona is a display cloche in iron, her woven mesh dome lifting by its finial off a footed pedestal tray edged in pierced lace trim. A palm tree medallion sits at the front of the dome, and the aged verdigris finish drifts between moss green, rust, and sand.
At 27cm tall she is the smaller of our two cloches, sized for a candle glowing through the mesh at dinner, a little nest of succulents, or the treats you want on show until serving time.

Dust with a soft dry brush over the mesh. Keep her dry, wipe the tray promptly after crumbs or soil, and if a real candle ever burns beneath her, keep the flame well below the mesh and never leave it unattended.

Does the dome lift off?
Yes, the mesh dome lifts off by its finial, leaving the footed tray as a little pedestal stand underneath.
Can she cover food?
She is a display cover rather than a sealed food dome. The open weave is for looks and airflow, not for keeping insects out, so use her to crown the biscuits for show and sit food on a plate on the tray.
Can I burn a candle inside?
Flameless candles are the worry free choice and glow beautifully through the mesh. With a real candle, keep the flame low and well clear of the mesh, and never leave it unattended.
Is there a larger size?
Yes, Primo is her taller brother at 31cm with the same dome, medallion, and pedestal base, listed separately so you can stand the pair together.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close. The verdigris finish is worked by hand, so where the green drifts to rust and sand varies from piece to piece, which is part of the intended character.
Because Ramona is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
