Alain Glazed Wall Cabinet with Hooks, Natural Pine, Glass Door 60cm

A little glazed cabinet in warm pine, a window-pane door over two compartments and a pair of iron hooks underneath for the things you reach for daily.

Alain is a wall cabinet built from natural pine, fronted by a hinged door glazed in four panes with a small black metal latch. Behind the glass, a single shelf splits the space into upper and lower compartments, the right size for keepsakes or a few potted succulents.

Below the cabinet, two cast-iron double hooks sit on a scalloped board, ready for keys and a tea towel by the back door, or mugs in a kitchen. At 60cm tall and 45cm wide it holds its own on a wall without crowding it.

Care & Keeping

Dust the timber with a soft dry cloth and clean the glass with a barely damp one, drying straight after. Keep it indoors and out of damp. A drop of oil on the hinge keeps the door swinging quietly.

Because Alain is made from natural timber, the grain, knots, and tone vary from piece to piece and add to the character of each one. The glass and iron fittings may carry small marks from finishing. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
