Elise is a wall-mounted statement corbel with a carved magnesium oxide composite body and a solid fir wood top. The carving follows an elongated tear-drop silhouette, with acanthus scrolls fanning out at the top, a central drop of layered leaves, and a deep flared base that curls outward. The whole piece is finished in a soft distressed whitewash that wears back to a sandy undertone along the high points, with the timber top left in a warm natural finish for contrast.

At 40 cm wide, 44 cm tall, and 20 cm deep, Elise is one of the largest corbels in our collection. Her tall vertical proportions suit walls where you want to carry visual interest up to ceiling height, beside a doorway, above a console, or as half of a matched pair with her companion piece Séverine. The carved depth gives her presence well beyond her footprint.

Care & Keeping

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth or a soft-bristle brush, paying attention to the deep folds and acanthus scroll detail where dust collects. The magnesium oxide body is porous, so avoid wet cleaning, harsh chemicals, and prolonged damp. The fir wood top can be wiped with a barely damp cloth and dried immediately. Indoor use only.

Because Elise is hand-finished, slight variations in patina, texture, and timber grain are natural and add to the unique character of each piece. Colour may also vary slightly between screens, all photography is taken in natural light.
