Claude is a cherub candle holder in antique cream. A small putto stands on a scrolled base, tambourine in hand, holding up an urn-shaped cup with scroll handles that takes a pillar candle. The cream finish is rubbed back over the raised detail, so the moulding reads soft and old.
He stands 27.5 cm tall and works on his own, or beside the companion Jean Paul for a matched pair across a mantel or table. Cast from magnesia composite, he is light to move and best kept indoors. The candle shown is for styling and not included.
