A small iron bloom with one job, to hold a candle and look like spring doing it.
Silvio is a candle holder shaped as a flowering stem in iron, his petal cup opening at the top to take a single taper. Ribbed leaves curve from his stem, a rolled bud leans in at his side, and he stands on a fluted trumpet base finished the same way as the bloom.
He is finished in distressed white with warm tones showing beneath where the paint is rubbed back. At 28cm tall he suits a bedside, a shelf, a windowsill, or the lower step of a staggered pair.

What is he made of?
Iron throughout, from the petal cup to the fluted base, painted in a distressed white that is rubbed back by hand to show warm tones beneath.
Is he steady with a candle in?
His fluted base is broad for his height. As with any candlestick, give him a flat level surface and he will hold his taper politely through the evening.
Is there a larger version?
Yes. Siena is the same flowering stem at 36cm tall, and the two look their best staggered together with candles at different heights.

Very close. The white is rubbed back by hand, so where the warm tones show through varies a little from piece to piece, which is part of the intended character.
