Emilie is a campana garden urn planter, the tall French shape with scrolled volute handles at the shoulders. It is cast magnesia composite with a gadrooned flared rim, a fluted lower bowl and a knopped stem on a stepped square plinth. The finish is a weathered antique patina, pale grey worn through to rust-brown in the hollows, so it carries the look of an old garden urn rather than something new.
It stands 50 cm tall and has real weight to it, so it anchors a spot indoors or out. The scrolled handles and tall bowl make it a piece in its own right, with or without a plant.
